There is a good reason to worry about the Air Quality in Nigerai, as it ranks 152^th (out of 180 countries) at the Environmental Performance Index for Air Quality.

Furthermore, according to the most recent World Health Organization air pollution database 2016 the air quality in several cities in Nigeria reaches PM_2.5 concentrations from unhealthy to hazardous levels:

Public Air Quality Information availability

Unfortunately, there is not any kind of information available from the Federal Ministry of the Environment (www.environment.gov.ng) about Air Quality, whether it relates to a possible monitoring network, or to the actual values recorded by this monitoring network. To our current knowledge, there should most likely not be any kind of automated monitoring network avaiable.

There is unfortunatley, not any information either from the Abuja Environmental Protection Board.
